A woman suffered serious injuries after being hit by a truck in Webster early Thursday evening on Plank Road. Monroe County Sheriff's officials say the woman was crossing Plank Road when a pickup truck struck her at a low rate of speed.

Connolly Trial Extends into Friday (R News)
The case against Seneca County's former sheriff is still in the hands of a jury. Lawyers delivered closing arguments Thursday morning and the jury got the case shortly after 1 p.m. After deliberating well into the evening, the jury was dismissed around 8:45 without reaching a verdict.
