City-county building sends court files out for cleaning (Detroit Free Press)
Mountains of Wayne County Circuit Court civil case records have been removed from the massive file room in the basement of the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center to eliminate potentially damaging soot from the June transformer fire in the building. Computers that enable the public to look up civil court records in the basement filing room also are out of service.
